What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is the use of videoconferencing with a doctor to provide healthcare advice from a location that is different to yours. As a premium healthcare service provider, we are dedicated to providing you with healthcare options that suit your needs.

Am I eligible?

Our telehealth service is open to everyone! If you have a valid Medicare card and meet the requirements, you may be entitled to a Medicare rebate. For patients without a valid Medicare card, you can still utilise the telehealth service, however an out of pocket fee will apply.

What is the cost?

If you are entitled to a Medicare rebate, the gap fee is $150 for an initial telehealth consult and $100 for a follow up. If you are not entitled to a Medicare rebate, the fee is $300.

Will I be speaking with a Sleep Physician?

Yes, Air Liquide Healthcare has the pleasure of connecting you with an experienced and respected Sleep Physician.

Do I need to provide documents prior to my telehealth consultation?

Depending on the type of consultation you select below, you may be asked to provide information which will assist the Sleep Physician in determining the most appropriate health solution for you.These are a few of the documents that you may need to provide the sleep physician  by email or fax

a) Referral for Sleep Physician Consultation - if you selected 'Sleep Physician consultation with a referral' then you'll be asked to provide a copy of your referral.

b) Sleep Study Report - if you completed a sleep study in the last 12 months, you may be asked to provide a copy of your report.

c) CPAP Therapy Compliance Report - if you are currently on CPAP therapy, the Sleep Physician will need to see a copy of your CPAP Therapy Compliance Report. If you are an Air Liquide Healthcare patient and your CPAP machine has remote monitoring, we may be able to provide you with this report. Please contact your nearest Air Liquide Sleep Clinic at 1 300 36 0202 to obtain this report. If your CPAP machine does not have remote monitoring, you can bring your CPAP machine  into your nearest Sleep Clinic and we will provide you with this report (be sure to bring the SD card which is inside the CPAP machine).
